New Customs Regulations Outside EU

For non-EU customers who order directly from MRC Holland, we are required to add a surcharge of €0.01 on Sample DNAs (SDs) that are included as accessory items with selected MLPA assays. This pertains to any customers from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and other non-EU customers ordering directly from us.

The reason for this is that customs regulations for exporting from the EU have become stricter and now require a value to be invoiced for each shipped item. This means we can no longer include our Sample DNAs, such as SALSA Binning DNA and SALSA Reference Selection DNA, or other items free of charge. With this 1 cent surcharge, we ensure a smooth shipping without substantially adding to the product costs.
