Required knowledge

It is highly recommend to attend the virtual workshop MLPA Raw Data Evaluation and Troubleshooting prior to attending this workshop. This workshop will not go into detail about raw data evaluation and troubleshooting (e.g. Q-fragments, D-fragments, sloping, primer peak).

During the workshop there will be no time to assist with installation or configuration of Coffalyser.Net or to explain the basics of setting up an experiment. Prior to this workshop you should know how to:

* If any of these things are unknown to you, you can prepare by completing the Workshop Preparation Package that you will receive upon registration. Please prepare at least 2 weeks prior to the event to allow sufficient time to assist you if you encounter difficulties.

All participants, experienced or beginners, should prepare their computer for the virtual workshop in advance. A checklist will be sent upon registration. You will need to load raw data files in Coffalyser.Net during the practical session. You will receive these files a few days prior to the event.

Practical information

  • Participants must have a computer and a reliable internet connection.
  • All virtual workshops are held in English unless noted otherwise.
  • One of the following browsers is required: Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.
  • Due to the interactive nature of the virtual workshop, all participants must use their own computer. It is not possible for multiple participants to join from one registration/computer.
  • Slides will be made available after the event.
  • If possible, we recommend using a dual-monitor setup. This will allow you to look at the slides on one screen and have Coffalyser.Net open on the other screen.
  • A certificate of completion is provided to participants who are present and actively participate for the entire virtual workshop (as measured by polling responses).
  • Due to time constraints, it is not possible to bring your own data for analysis or troubleshooting. Feel free to contact us with your question.
