New Product: NXtec D024 KaryoProfiler — High-Throughput, High-Resolution Alternative to Traditional Karyotyping

Nov 12, 2025

We have launched NXtec D024 KaryoProfiler, our newest digitalMLPA™ assay designed for comprehensive molecular karyotyping across a wide range of applications.

Why NXtec D024 KaryoProfiler?

This assay expands our digitalMLPA portfolio, offering researchers a cost-effective, high-throughput solution for genome-wide chromosomal copy number profiling in both primary and cultured cells.

In a benchmark study using 43 cell line-derived samples from the Coriell CNVPANEL01, the assay achieved 98.5% concordance with known cytogenetic profiles — demonstrating its reliability for genome-wide copy number detection.

Launch Offer

To celebrate the release of NXtec D024 KaryoProfiler, we are offering a 40% discount, exclusively for first-time digitalMLPA users, valid until February 28th, 2026. Contact us to receive your personal quote.

Applications include:

  • Constitutional & acquired CNV detection, including cryptic imbalances in cytogenetic research for example in developmental disorders, intellectual disability, or congenital anomalies
  • Genomic stability monitoring in iPSC, ESC, and other cell models
  • Detection of mosaicism and subclonal alterations
  • QC for cell-based product development, manufacturing, and biobanking
  • Authentication & contamination control for research cell lines

Key Benefits:

  • Genome-wide copy chromosomal profiling at 2–4 Mb resolution
  • Sensitive detection of mosaicism and subclonal alterations present in ≥30% of cells
  • Integrated SNP-pair probe panel for authentication & contamination checks
  • Minimal sample input — only 20 ng DNA
  • From DNA to sequencer in <24 hours
  • Free, easy-to-use Coffalyser digitalMLPA™ software — no bioinformatics expertise required
  • Priced at ~€35 per sample (prices may vary via distributors)

Please note: D024 KaryoProfiler does not detect balanced structural variants and is not recommended for highly complex karyotypes such as cancer samples.
