New Customs Regulations Outside EU

We would like to remind our non-EU customers who order directly from MRC Holland that we are required to add a surcharge of €0.01 on Sample DNAs (SDs) that are included as accessory items with selected MLPA assays. This pertains to any customers from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and all other non-EU countries ordering directly from us.

The reason for this is that customs regulations for exporting from the EU have become stricter and now require a value to be invoiced for each shipped item. This means we can no longer include our Sample DNAs, such as SALSA^® Binning DNA and SALSA^® Reference Selection DNA, or any other items free of charge. With this 1 cent surcharge, we ensure smooth shipping without substantially adding to product costs.
