Our digitalMLPA™ portfolio is about to receive an update with the upcoming launch of NXtec D008 DMD – our first dedicated neuromuscular digitalMLPA assay!
NXtec D008 DMD detects CNVs linked to Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophies in a single reaction.
Covering the entire DMD gene with 158 probes – two probes per exon – this NGS-based solution also contains 50 additional X-chromosome probes for the detection of larger CNVs and aneuploidies, such as Turner syndrome (45,X). This high-throughput digitalMLPA assay delivers gold standard-level CNV detection at NGS scale.
NXtec D008 DMD will be the latest addition to our DMD CNV assay portfolio, which includes the gold standard MLPA probemixes P034 DMD Mix 1 & P035 DMD Mix 2, and the broader NXtec D028 Carrier Panel 1 (targeting DMD, SMN1, HBA/HBB, CFTR and more).
