D001 Hereditary Cancer Panel 1: new version available
We are happy to announce the launch of the updated version of our SALSA® digitalMLPA™ Probemix D001 Hereditary Cancer Panel 1: version C1. The panel now offers an even more extensive coverage of the 28 most common genes involved in predisposition to cancer.
Detailed changes in version C1 compared to B1:
- 19 new target probes included for the MSH2, BAP1, POLE, PALB2, BRCA1, BRIP1, STK11, CHEK2 genes.
- 14 target probes improved (no change in hybridising sequence).
- Two target probes replaced.
- One target probe removed.
- Reference probe selection adjusted.
- Set of control probes included updated.
To analyse the data of the C1 version, an updated version of Coffalyser digitalMLPA is required (v220221.1522 or later; see the release notes). To get the latest version of Coffalyser digitalMLPA, log in to your MRC Holland account, download the software package, and unpack it to an empty folder. No further installation is required.
